《PHP簡介》
網頁大致上可以分為前端與後端的語法，前端的語法大致上有：HTML、CSS、Javascript和最近比較熱門的jQuery，主要用在網頁結構（HTML）、網頁樣式（CSS）與一些互動和動畫效果（Javascript），後端語法大致上有：ASP、JSP和本課程的PHP，而前端語法是由網頁伺服器傳送到使用者的瀏覽器後，由瀏覽器來解讀後顯示於畫面，由於這個工作原理，使用者可以在瀏覽器直接觀賞到網頁中所有的前端語法，而後端語法是使用者提出需求後，由伺服器來解讀該需求，處理該需求後，傳回前端語法給使用者，瀏覽器解讀後再呈現。
所以若我們要撰寫PHP的語法，就必須要架設可以解讀該語法的伺服器，而關於伺服器的架設非網頁設計的專業領域，所以我們架設的伺服器，僅供撰寫語法與測試語法使用，通常撰寫後的頁面，必須上傳到虛擬主機來讓廣大的使用者使用，對於安全性來說會比較有保障。

許多網站都希望可以保存使用者的使用紀錄會個人資料，這樣才可以做好客戶關係管理，這樣一來我們就需要利用到資料庫，而對於免費授權的PHP語法來說，免費授權的資料庫MySQL就是一個最好的搭檔。
《PHP+MySQL簡介》
MySQL只是存資料的媒介，PHP可以了解使用者的需求，接收使用者的資料，所以由PHP接收資料後把資料寫入（Insert）資料庫，或是由PHP接收到使用者想要修改個人的資料進而進行資料變更（Update）後寫入資料庫，或是該使用者刪除（Delete）了一些訊息紀錄，亦或是使用者想要看到（Select）我們最新的商品資訊，都是由PHP接受使用者的需求，也利用PHP對資料庫提出需求後傳回結果給使用者。

phpMyAdmin-2.10.3：資料庫管理介面
軟體安裝後請在瀏覽器中輸入：「http://localhost/」測試是否成功
